No. There is no SIM slot. It connects through the hotspot of your phone or a Wi-Fi network, so it uses data you already have.
Passengers can watch at any time. For safety and under local traffic rules, video on the main screen is meant for when the car is parked. While driving, navigation and audio stay available as usual.

Into the USB port you normally use for wired CarPlay or Android Auto. Use the adapter from the box if your port is different.

Pair once
Turn on Bluetooth and wifi, pick DashNova on your phone and confirm. You do this once. After that it connects by itself.

Connect to wifi or the hotspot of your phone, open an app and sign in with your existing accounts.
Good to know: the box has no SIM slot and runs on the hotspot of your phone. The MagSafe charger in the package keeps the phone full while it does.
