Will DashNova work with my car?
AIBOX GO works with most cars that have factory wired CarPlay or Android Auto from around 2016. AIBOX GO PRO is for cars with factory wireless CarPlay, including many BMW models with iDrive 6.0–8.5. The quickest way to check is our compatibility checker .
What is the difference between AIBOX GO and AIBOX GO PRO?
AIBOX GO is the everyday choice for most cars with wired CarPlay or Android Auto and comes with 32 popular apps ready to use. AIBOX GO PRO is designed for factory wireless CarPlay systems and includes the Google Play Store, so you can download additional apps.
Do I need to pay a monthly fee?
No. DashNova does not charge a monthly fee. You buy the box once and sign in with the app accounts you already use. Services such as Netflix, Disney+ or Spotify may still require their own subscription.
Does it need an internet connection?
Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto use your phone as normal. Streaming apps need internet access, either through your phone’s hotspot or another Wi-Fi connection. Your mobile provider’s usual data charges may apply.
How long does setup take?
Usually about a minute. Plug the AIBOX into your car’s CarPlay or Android Auto USB port, pair it with your phone once, then connect to Wi-Fi or your phone’s hotspot for streaming. No tools or dealer visit needed.
Can I watch video while driving?
DashNova does not disable video playback while the car is moving. However, watching video as the driver is dangerous and illegal in many countries. Playback on the move is for passengers only where local law permits; drivers should watch only when safely parked.
What if my car does not have a touchscreen?
You can add the DashNova Bluetooth Mouse to control apps on cars without a touchscreen. Check your car with our compatibility tool first, or contact us if you are unsure about your controls.
What if it is not right for my car?
You have 60 days to try DashNova in your own car. If it is not right for you, you can send it back under our money-back guarantee. Every box also includes a 2-year warranty.
How quickly will my order be sent?
Orders are processed within 24 hours and sent with tracking. Shipping is free on orders over €90.
